Rent a Counselling Room

Room One

This room offers a cosy, calm and welcoming environment, designed with therapeutic work in mind. Soft furnishings and low lighting options help create a sense of warmth and safety, with the flexibility to reduce bright overhead lighting for clients who may find this overstimulating. The space is particularly well suited to sensitive work, including trauma-informed practice and neurodiverse clients.

The room is fully equipped for child and young person work, with a thoughtfully selected range of CYP resources available to use gently and appropriately within sessions. These include a sand tray, puppets, air-dry clay, play dough, paper-based resources, watercolours, acrylic paint pens, origami materials, and worksheet books suitable for both adults and children. A selection of counselling books and therapeutic resources is also available for practitioner use.

Practitioners are welcome to use the materials conservatively or to bring their own resources if preferred. The room is suitable for both child and adult sessions and offers a private, confidential setting that supports focused and meaningful therapeutic work.

Room Two

This second counselling room offers a larger, more open therapeutic space, providing flexibility for different styles of work with both couples, adults and children. The room is designed to feel calm, professional and comfortable, with enough space to adapt the layout to suit individual practice, including seated work, creative activities or play-based sessions.

A range of therapeutic resources will be available, including creative and play-based materials suitable for child and young person work, alongside resources that can also be used with adults. This includes two small yoga mats. Practitioners are welcome to use the materials conservatively or bring their own resources to meet the needs of their clients.

The additional space makes this room particularly suitable for sessions that benefit from more physical freedom, including play therapy, movement-based activities or work that requires a more flexible setup. The room offers a private and confidential setting, supporting focused therapeutic work within a calm and adaptable environment.
