Low-Cost Counselling Service

Aiming to help reduce the financial impact and to provide quicker access to therapy for those unable to access it privately elsewhere.

  • Reduced Cost

The cost of counselling can sometimes prevent people from reaching out for support, even when they need it most. I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone, so alongside my standard sessions I also offer a limited number of low-cost appointments starting from £30.

These are intended for those who may not be able to afford the usual cost of therapy but still want a safe space to talk and be heard. If you feel this could help, please mention it on the contact form when you get in touch.

  • Open-Ended

Accessing therapy through the NHS often means a limited 6-session format. This often isn’t enough time to explore the cause of the issue and instead must take a behaviour focused direction. For some this is useful and all that they need. For many, old wounds are left open or issues are not solved to rear their heads later down the line.

I offer open-ended sessions with a review every 12-weeks to collaboratively explore whether more sessions are needed/wanted. This gives clients more control over the direction and pace of their sessions.

For those who would prefer a short-term CBT led approach, this is still possible.

  • Signposting to Support

I truly believe in supporting people to improve their lives but we also understand that their are often factors outside of their control which are limiting this.

To help with this, I work with local charities and support groups which can be used to help signpost people to support in their area. This includes addiction and food security support services.

  • Student Counsellor Discount

The process of becoming a counsellor is expensive and challenging. To help with this I offer student counsellors a discounted rate to access therapy. This starts at £35 per 50-minute session.

  • The Support Room

The Support Room is a space where I share reflections, insights, and tools to support emotional wellbeing.

Drawing on my experience as a therapist, these posts explore topics like self-compassion, communication, mindfulness and the impact of shame. My aim is to offer grounded, accessible guidance for anyone looking to better understand themselves or support others with care and curiosity.

A new topic will be explored on the first Sunday of each month.
